On the Mercedes W460 and W461 the brake pressure regulator is operated via a small coupling rod. This coupling rod is attached to the rear axle and a lever connected to the frames. This rod or better the ball heads tend to rust and wear out. In many cases, the socket holder jumps off the ball head.
We have developed a maintenance-free and corrosion-resistant alternative. The threaded rod itself and the mounting material are made of stainless steel. The ball heads and the rod ends are high-strength reinforced plastic elements that do not require additional lubrication. Rod ends can be used with the original ball heads. The set also includes the plastic ball heads shown as a replacement.
The length between the two pan heads is 26 mm thus suitable for Military G-Wagons like the ambulance car.
