One of the typical flaws of the Mercedes G-model frames are the front body mounts. The mount/ console is positioned in the front wheel arch. Moist and dirt buil up. The original dewatering hole is not sufficient to ensure a self cleaning process. In an advanced stage the mount breaks off the frame tubing.
To restore the original state, the console must be completely separated from the frame and a new part welded on. The part offered is an original Mercedes parts.
