This holder is suitable for the W460 and W461 which are equipped with the 'small' steering damper from the factory. This steering damper is undersized and usually defective after a short time. Many customers therefore want to upgrade to the heavy duty steering damper from the W463. Unfortunately this is not possible with the original sheet metal bracket of the W460. 

We offer a conversion kit including a bracket plus the complete mounting hardware needed to install the steering damper.
